Not everyone travels through Europe with charter flights. Not those on the run, looking for a place to belong, a place to live in peace. What is it like to be stopped by the Taliban in the middle of the night? How do you actually travel with the help of human traffickers? And is Norway a place to feel at home when the journey is finally over?

In the narrative performance "Unpolished", Afghan youth tell about life in Afghanistan and why they had to leave. It's about the escape and what it's been like trying to find a foothold on Norwegian soil. The show is created and edited based on the young people's own stories and is a meeting of unpolished human fates.

There will be two rounds of performances for secondary schools at. 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. 13.00 Tuesday 23 October. The event lasts about an hour and a half. Registration to school@litteraturhuset.no .
