Poetry and the poetics of space with Julyen Hamilton and Billie Hanne
When we zoom in life is revealed as well as abstracted. And in that place of revelation and abstraction there is a beauty we easily understand from the secret inner structures of our being.
Julyen Hamilton and Billie Hanne are poets and dancers. They make poetry from the dancing body and write their lines into the space and time of performance. They actualise their poetic imagination in the time the audience is there watching and listening.
They are in Oslo for an Allen’s Line performance at the CODA Dancefest. This evening they bring you poetry and talk intimately about composition. They go into what it means to speak from the body and to make poetry in the theatre.
