In Reconstructing Utøya, four survivors meet to act out their stories in a film studio, six years after the terror attack. Together with twelve youth, the survivors reconstruct their memories of what happened on Utøya, directed by Swedish Carl Javér, and with psychologist and trauma therapist Steffen Svendsen as support. The documentary is a collective processing of a national and personal trauma, described as the survivors’ own film.
