Welcome to a seminar on suicide risk on social media.

The seminar sheds light on questions about destructive and positive communities, how we can see the mechanisms of insiderness and outsiderness against harmful behavior online. New Norwegian research into why it is the heavy users of social media who are at risk will also be presented.

We will get a visit by one of the world’s leading researchers on the connection between social media and suicide, Jo Robinson, who will also introduce this important topic. Furthermore, there will be introductions from both user communities and research teams about the situation in Norway.
