North Korean test activity has spiked dramatically the last few years, unsettling policymakers and the public alike. Kim Jong Un’s rhetoric and accelerating provocations increase tension between the North and South, as well as with the U.S. and other regional actors. Now, some prominent analysts suggest it is not a question of whether, but rather when, North Korea will go to war.

The Norwegian Institute for Defence Studies (IFS) welcomes you to a discussion about stability on the Korean peninsula, and whether the behaviour we are witnessing from the North Korean regime should be interpreted as active preparations for war.

Welcome: Øystein Tunsjø
